Hola, me llamo...

My first mother and daughter trip was a bus tour through Mexico. We went with a church group and it was lots of fun because they were singing songs and telling stories and such. We visited Mexico city and saw the virgin of Guadalupe, we stopped at Guanajuato and staying at a converted mission to a hotel, and visited many ornate churches along the way. We even got serenaded by mariachis and visited a large Mercado where I did most of my souvenir shopping. Next time I go I would love to visit the ancient pyramids and visit the beaches!

Tennessee y'all

Family vacation is always fun :) Our first stop was in Chattanooga where we visited ruby falls caves and look out mountain. I will say that the hike up there was gorgeous and you could see for miles around. While looking for things to see in Tennessee , to our surprise we came across a replica of the Parthenon of all things. There was detailed sculptures and a giant statue of Athena inside. Almost like visiting Greece :P We also visited Nashville and enjoyed the Grand Ole Opry and Dollywood.
